Innovadores de América relies on a research team responsible for the verification and validation of the data regarding the innovations nominated. It is presided by a Technical Coordinator, responsible for ensuring its cohesion, functionality and effectiveness. The research team makes a first review and evaluation of all nominations received to ascertain their compliance with the prize´s criteria and that of each category.

Guillermo González Camarena was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, in 1917. As a little boy he loved to make toys that move with electricity, which he created in his work space: a lab in his home basement.
